Blount International appoints new corporate communications and investor relations director

Blount International, Inc., Portland, Ore., announced Jan. 18 that it appointed David Dugan to the newly created position of director of corporate communications and investor relations.

Dugan previously served as advertising and marketing research manager for Blount’s Forestry Lawn & Garden business. Prior to joining Blount in 2008, Dugan served in a similar corporate communication and investor relations role at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, and he has more than 18 years of experience in the communications, public affairs, marketing, and advertising fields.
