Case signs supplier agreement with True Value

Case Construction Equipment has announced a supplier agreement with True Value Company, one of the world’s largest retailer-owned hardware cooperatives. The agreement enables more than 1,000 True Value Rental, Taylor Rental, Just Ask Rental and Grand Rental Station locations across the United States to purchase Case construction equipment for their rental locations.

“We are excited about this agreement with True Value,” said Pat Hunt, director of strategic accounts for Case Construction Equipment. “Both Case and True Value enjoy a strong presence in the United States. The agreement gives owners of more than 1,000 rental outlets the ability to place Case equipment in their inventory, which will drive loyal Case customers to these outlets for their rental needs.”

Hunt added that renting equipment, versus buying or leasing, provides additional benefits to customers. “This includes the flexibility to add specialized equipment to your fleet for short-term projects, and to increase your fleet during contract surges.”

The agreement with True Value focuses on key rental equipment, including Case skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, loader/backhoes, rough-terrain forklifts, wheel loaders, excavators, telescopic handlers and compaction equipment. “This is a great outlet for our compact equipment offerings, especially Case skid steers and compact excavators,” Hunt said.

The Case agreement was announced just prior to True Value’s annual Rental Market expo in January. During the event, Case gave rental operators the opportunity to put Case equipment to the test. “Case met with buyers and rental operators from all over the country,” Hunt added. “As a result of the successes at the event, we have already put Case equipment into True Value rental operations.”

Headquartered in Chicago, True Value Company is one of the world’s largest retailer-owned hardware cooperatives. The company has more than 5,000 independent retailer locations worldwide, with more than 600 Just Ask Rental counters, 450 Grand Rental Station and Taylor Rental locations and more than 250 True Value Garden Showplace locations.
