Exmark Customer Service Team Selected as Finalist for 2008 American Business Award

Exmark, a manufacturer of commercial mowers, has been named a finalist in the “Best Customer Service Team” category in the 2008 American Business Awards.

The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and industries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.

Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the nation are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network.

The 12-member Exmark customer service team, led by Director of Customer Service Paul Jurgens, boasts more than 125 combined years of experience at the company. The customer service department supports more than 1,500 lawnmower dealers, visiting at least 250 annually. Visits consist of everything from conducting service schools for distributors, dealers and technicians, to lying in the grass to fix a simple hydraulic leak for a shorthanded landscape

contractor crew.

“To be recognized as a finalist for this prestigious national award is a tremendous honor for the Exmark Customer Service Team”, said Jurgens. “We are extremely passionate about each of our customers and are proud to represent the Exmark brand with excellence.”

Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging during the week of May 19. Finalists for the Stevie Awards were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.
