The GBI is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of building practices that result in energy-efficient, healthier and environmentally sustainable buildings. The board is comprised of industry leaders from nongovernmental organizations, companies, architectural firms and academic institutions who provide direction for the GBI staff.

During the next few years on GBI’s board, Gorowitz will be an active participant in green building and serve as a representative of the landscape and irrigation industry and promote the efficient use of outdoor water.

“Ewing recognizes the importance of green building, and outdoor water use is an important part of that,” said Gorowitz. “I’m honored to be able to represent Ewing and extend the principles of efficient water use to the GBI.”

Gorowitz has worked for Ewing for more than 20 years as a respected industry leader and water efficiency and sustainability professional. In 2016, he received an Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University.
