Meridian Insecticide Gives More Time to Water After Application

Meridian is a broad-spectrum insecticide that provides preventive and curative control for grubs, billbugs and other foliar insect pests on lawns, trees and shrubs for up to seven days without watering. Its generous window of seven days for watering means that, should a client forget to water if it does not rain, Meridian will perform.

Other features of Meridian include:

* Appropriate for use on residential lawns, parks, office complexes and other landscaped areas, Meridian mixes well with other insecticides like Syngenta Scimitar CS. Mixing the two products enables a lawn care operator to target even more foliar pests like caterpillars, cutworms and adult beetles.

* Meridian is available in both a 25WG wettable granule formulation for spraying, and a 0.33 granular formulation suitable for spreading.

* Meridian carries a “caution” signal word.

“The large application window offered by Meridian means there is not as much of a time crunch for application to maintain control all season long,” said Bob Goglia, Syngenta lawn market manager. “Whether sprayed or applied in its granular form, Meridian can reliably control a wide range of pests on turfgrasses, shrubs and trees.”

As with all insecticides, it is important to read and follow label instructions when using Meridian.
