Northern Green Expo now one week later: January 14-16, 2015

The Northern Green Expo will bring green industry leaders from five states to the Minneapolis Convention Center one week later in 2015.  The show dates this year will be January 14-16, 2015. The Expo is the largest trade show and educational conference in the north central region dedicated exclusively to green industry professionals.  The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) and the Minnesota Turf & Grounds Foundation (MTGF) partner each year to put on the event.

“Start off 2015 with a bang at the Northern Green Expo and energize your team for the coming year,” said Cassie Larson, Executive Director of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association. “There will be several changes to the show this year including an updated show floor layout and increased educational demos and events on the trade show floor.”

Attendees will enjoy a keynote address from Kit Welchlin, Welchlin Communication.  Featured speakers will include: Allan Armitage, University of Georgia; Steve Bailey, The Garden Center Group; Kris Bachtell, Morton Arboretum; Michael Hurzden, Hurdzan Golf Course Design, LLC; Julie Moir Messervy, Julie Moir Messervy Design Studio; Jody Shilan, Jody Shilan Designs, LLC; Marla Spivak, University of Minnesota; John Ball, South Dakota State University; and many more!  Visit www.NorthernGreenExpo.org for a complete listing of speakers and seminars coming soon!

“We have outstanding educational opportunities planned, but don’t forget that networking opportunities are also a huge emphasis – and you’ll have plenty of them,” said Larson.  “Be sure to talk to seminar leaders and other industry experts at the show to get their perspectives on the upcoming year.”

Expo has averaged nearly 6,500 attendees each year.  Key owners and other management personnel focused on purchasing decisions comprise a large bloc of the attendance.  “We have a loyal and powerful buying force at Expo,” Larson said.
