SolaRight Lighting, LLC and the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden announced that zoo patrons will enjoy an enhanced experience when attending evening events at the zoo. SolaRight’s solar-powered light systems were recently installed in Cat Forest, Island Life and Great EscApe in order to provide a unique atmosphere for evening events.
“We are excited to improve the evening walkability and beauty of these popular areas. Working with a local supplier and installing products that will soon be manufactured in Oklahoma made it a win-win for everyone involved,” said Dr. Dwight Lawson, Oklahoma City Zoo Executive Director/CEO. Thanks to the Oklahoma Zoological Society (Zoo Friends) for the purchase of the lights.
“We hope to continue to work with the Zoo on further installations of environmentally friendly, maintenance-free path lighting solutions in order to bring more evening events to the Zoo,” said Todd Catania, SolaRight Business Development Manager. Catania also stated that their maintenance-free lights improve safety and ambience for any residential or commercial property. From crosswalks, gardens, pools and trails to sidewalks, shopping malls and monuments, SolaRight’s wide variety of colors, shapes and applications are perfect for any outdoor setting.
