Bayer Environmental Science Names New Lawn Care Sales Reps

Bayer Environmental Science announced two new sales representatives for the lawn care market: Dave Swanigan and Brad Herman. They will be responsible for sales and product support for lawn care customers in their respective territories.


Swanigan joins Bayer as the field sales representative for the lawn and landscape market in the Eastern Region. His territory includes Savananah, Ga., northern Georgia, North and South Carolina, eastern Tennesee and southern Virginia.


Prior to joining Bayer, Swanigan spent 17 years at LESCO. His roles included lawn care and golf representative, as well as regional manager.


A graduate of Concord University, Swanigan holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He currently resides in Charleston, S.C.


Herman covers the New England region and New York as a lawn and landscape field sales specialist.


Previously, Herman was employed by Bell Laboratories, Inc. where he was a turf and ornamental account manager, selling the Bell product line nationwide.  He also spent time as a marketing representative for the Mid Atlantic States as well as a regional sales representative in the New England region for Bayer Corporation during the mid-1990s.


Herman graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology from the The Johns Hopkins University.
