Crary Industries announces new president

Crary Industries, Inc., located in West Fargo, N.D., recently announced the promotion of Dan Birrenkott to the position of president. For the past nine years, Birrenkott has served as the vice president of finance for Crary Industries and has been a key member of its leadership team.

“He brings great ideas in overcoming challenging business conditions and has a clear vision for the future of the company,” said Tim Dorsey, president of Echo Incorporated. “Dan is well versed in all aspects of the company and its diverse line of products, which will prove important for their growth.”

Birrenkott expressed his enthusiasm for the new challenge. “I’m very excited to take this next step with Crary Industries,” he said. “We have incredible people and great products. We all care deeply about our customers, and I look forward to our continued success.”

Crary Industries manufactures a variety of agricultural equipment, including combine harvester attachments, subsurface tiling equipment, and the Lockwood brand of potato equipment, as well as the Echo Bear Cat line of outdoor power equipment. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Echo Incorporated, which is a Lake Zurich, Ill.-based manufacturer of professional-grade handheld outdoor power equipment.
