DIG Corporation is introducing the LEIT-1, which is the latest addition to its exclusive product line of ambient LEIT controllers. The LEIT-1 makes its debut in the IA New Product Contest and in the DIG Booth at Irrigation Show.
The LEIT-1 is unique in that it does not require direct sunlight to operate, unlike most other solar controllers. It utilizes SimpleSmart programming technology which provides smart irrigation control made simple and easy. It does not require wiring, digging, or trenching, and it does not charge batteries or cells. It is also ambient light (solar) powered, committing to using only clean and sustainable energy.
“DIG believes that in order to conserve the highest quantity of water, the technology must be simple, user- friendly and affordable. That way people actually use smart controllers,” said Rick Heenan, DIG Inside Sales Specialist. “The LEIT-1 was designed with that in mind.
“The irrigation industry is always looking for new methods to save water through improved irrigation practices,” said DIG Marketing Manager Benjamin Raines. “Products that offer easy installation and set-up, smart control and provide unique and beneficial features like our ambient light powered products, continue to gain popularity.”
