D&K Landscape, Inc. has begun a $1.3 million landscape construction project. The scope of the project, at Loreto and Palacio Apartments in northwest Las Vegas, includes irrigation and groundcover installation, as well as tree and shrub planting throughout the 23-acre project. Focusing on water conservation and sustainability, the site design incorporates courtyards and perimeter areas landscaped with desert-friendly trees and water-smart flora.
Lined with date palms and olive trees, the entrance of the 739-unit apartment complex emanates the eclectic style seen throughout the project. The two clubhouses boast resort-style pools, barbecue areas, cabanas, outdoor fireplaces and secluded spas accented with mature olive and cypress trees as well as Mexican fan palms.
D&K Landscape is working directly with Fairfield Development L.P., the developer and general contractor of the project. The landscape architect for the project is Irvine California-based ima+design. The project completion date is scheduled for the end of 2009.
