ET Water Systems, Inc. was selected by the screening committee of the Irrigation Association to develop and present on flow monitoring as part of the Technical Sessions at the Irrigation Association’s Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Orlando, Fla., November 2-6, 2012.
The technical session, entitled, “Flow Monitoring in Landscape Irrigation Systems” will be presented by ETwater VP of Engineering, Patrick Halahan. According to Halahan, “Flow is a hot topic today for irrigation professionals because of the industry trend toward water conservation. Our presentation will use real-world field data to demonstrate how to get the most out of flow monitoring. Different flow sensor techniques will be reviewed with a discussion of their accuracy, limitations, and how to use them to enhance irrigation management and water conservation programs.”
“One of our primary objectives as a company is to evolve our products to meet the changing needs of our customer base,” said Pat McIntyre, CEO, ETwater. “As water scarcity and drought become more prominent issues, as water prices rise, and as water agencies tighten their water budget requirements, we have found flow monitoring and control to be an increasingly important element of our customers’ irrigation management service. Mr. Halahan has spearheaded the research necessary for us to incorporate more advanced flow monitoring capabilities into our products, and will be sharing his knowledge at this year’s IA Show.”
Technical sessions are free with a full Irrigation Show registration. Mr. Halahan will be presenting on Sunday, November 4 in the 10:20am – 12:00pm time block. In addition to presenting the technical paper on Flow Monitoring, ETwater will be exhibiting at booth #1155 and will be showcasing new products and feature enhancements, to be announced soon.
