Fortify your leadership skills at the PLANET Executive Forum

The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) encourages all green industry business owners and managers to attend its Executive Forum — The Balance of Life, Work, and Health — February 19–22, 2009, at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Fla. The coming year promises to be one that will challenge the leadership skills of many a business executive. To be effective leaders, owners and managers need to take some time to be rejuvenated and inspired.

Over the course of three days, attendees will learn how to enhance their leadership skills, cope with stress in a down economy, and be stewards of their own well-being. Through informational sessions and interactive lectures, they’ll hear from experts such as Murray Banks, a speaker and trainer for 24 years and a world champion athlete, who’ll focus on lifestyle and how it can impact leadership and work performance; Bill Arman, an expert on human development and co-founder of the Harvest Group, who’ll help harvest potential; and Scott Smith, founder and Chief Motivating Officer of the popular MotivationToMove.com, who’ll teach how to reduce stress and live a fit, healthy balanced life. There’ll also be time to network with other industry leaders, share ideas with and learn from peers, as well as to enjoy the magic that is Disney.
