Free TREE Fund webinar this month

TREE Fund will present a free webinar regarding Online Street Tree Inventories, on April 21 at Noon CDT. The webinar will be presented by Dr. Adam Berland, assistant professor of geography at Ball State University.

Street tree inventories are fundamentally important for municipal urban forest management, but collecting and maintaining inventory data is expensive and time-consuming.

This presentation discusses the level of detail and data quality associated with virtual surveys conducted using Google Street View. Attendees will learn about some pros and cons of these virtual surveys, and consider whether this simple online technique might be useful for generating street tree data in their own communities.

CEU credit for this live webinar is pending ISA approval.
