George Furrer has been promoted to national marketing manager for the new Specialty Products business for SipcamAdvan. Furrer will lead the marketing efforts for the Specialty Products business unit, which includes turf and ornamental, nursery greenhouse, lawn care, pest control and consumer home and garden markets. As Sipcam Agro USA, Inc. and subsidiaries Advan LLC and Sostram Corporation continue to position for expansion, the creation of the Specialty Products business unit sharpens the focus on customer needs.
Furrer will continue to be based in the field and report to Andy Lee, President and CEO. Asked about his new role, Furrer said, “I look forward to the challenge of building on the foundation we have at SipcamAdvan and working with a great team to reach our goal of becoming a more customer-focused organization.” In the interim, Furrer will continue to manage his sales territory in the upper northeast United States.
