Hardscape North America postpones show until 2021

Due to the current concerns and uncertainties of the pandemic, the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) announced the postponement of Hardscape North America (HNA) trade show until October of 2021. The ICPI Board of Directors earlier this year also committed to continuing Hardscape North America in conjunction with the GIE+EXPO through 2023.

Hardscape North America is known for attracting thousands to a dynamic event that includes one-on-one interaction, networking, hands-on demonstrations and social gatherings.

“Because we cannot currently guarantee the experience our attendees and exhibitors have come to expect, our board has decided to postpone the in-person event for 2020 and set our sights on how we can best serve our audiences this year,” said Charles McGrath, ICPI executive director. “And we’ve already begun planning for an even bigger and greater HNA trade show and learning event alongside the GIE+EXPO in 2021.”

ICPI has become well known for its education programs for dealers and contractors and, during the last two years, has developed online versions of the following strongly popular courses:

  • Concrete Paver Installer Course and Certification
  • Residential Specialist Course and designation
  • Commercial Specialist Course and designation
  • PICP Specialist Course and designation
  • Commercial Professional Course and designation
  • Residential Professional Course and designation

ICPI also has a vast library of recorded webinars that are easily accessed 24/7 from their Hardscape Institute at educate.icpi.org In addition, the association is leading a workforce development campaign, “@HardscapingIs”, to attract students and career-seekers into hardscaping trade.
