After another successful year, the Irrigation Foundation released its 2018 Annual Report, an overview of the Foundation’s programs and accomplishments.
The Foundation continues to promote careers in irrigation through outreach to students and faculty. Some of the Foundation’s achievements in 2018 include:
- Sending 29 students and two educators to the 2018 Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Long Beach, California, as part of its Irrigation E3 program.
- Awarding 21 students from colleges and universities around the nation with Irrigation Foundation scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500.
- Hosting 47 educators at the annual landscape Faculty Academy and 14 at the annual agriculture Faculty Academy.
- Recognizing Franklin Gaudi, EdD, CAIS, CIC, CID, CCA, with the 2018 Excellence in Education Award at the 2018 Irrigation Show.
