ISA to celebrate 100th anniversary; issues call for abstracts

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) will be celebrating its 100th year at the 2024 International Conference in Atlanta on Aug. 12-14, 2024.

ISA is seeking proposals from leaders in arboriculture, urban forestry and related fields who want to share their research, best practices and expertise with the arboriculture community.

ISA will be accepting proposals in the following subjects:

  • Celebrating 100 Years: Arboriculture and Urban Forestry, The Past and Future
  • AREA/Researchers’ Presentations on Arboriculture Research
  • Climber’s Corner/Safety
  • Legal and Business Issues & Arboriculture
  • Soils & Water
  • Tree Biology/Tree Biomechanics
  • Diagnostics/Plant Healthcare (PHC)/Tree Pests & Disease
  • Tree Risk Assessment
  • Urban Forestry
  • Standards and Best Management Practices
  • Utility Arboriculture/Utility Arborist Association
  • Presentation in Spanish Language
