Irrigation Association member Tim Malooly was awarded the WaterSense Irrigation Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Malooly named WaterSense Irrigation Partner of the Year

Irrigation Association member Tim Malooly was awarded the WaterSense Irrigation Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The award recognizes partners who advance the WaterSense mission, measurably increase awareness about WaterSense, and demonstrate overall excellence in water efficiency. Malooly is president of two Minneapolis, Minn.-based irrigation firms: Irrigation Consultants & Control, Inc. and Irrigation By Design, Inc. He has more than 26 years of experience in the irrigation industry, and has earned three WaterSense-labeled certifications through IA’s Select Certified program. Irrigation Consultants & Control and Irrigation by Design have been responsible for design and/or installation of water-efficient irrigation systems for a variety of projects. Malooly’s achievements include the first residential project to receive Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program; Russia’s Grizzly Coast exhibit at the Minnesota Zoological Garden; and masterplanned community projects, such as the Spirit of Brandtjen Farm in Lakeville, Minn.
