Maruyama promotes Leif Ringstad to general manager

 

 Leif RingstadMaruyama U.S. Inc. announced the promotion of Leif Ringstad to general manager Oct. 14. He will succeed Thomas Glaze, who recently left the company after 20 years of dedicated service to pursue other opportunities.


Previously an executive with the Samsung BCS Division for seven years, Ringstad started in national accounts and was later promoted to Midwest regional sales manager, Western division sales manager, and finally as national sales manager. In January 2008, Ringstad joined Maruyama U.S., Inc. as the national sales manager. Among his many accomplishments as national sales manager, in 2009 Maruyama U.S. finished the fiscal year with the highest revenue earnings in the history of the company.

Originally from Ladysmith, Wis., Ringstad now resides in Allen, Texas, with his wife Heidi and four children Nathaniel, Robert, Leif II and Rosa.
