Maruyama unveils new edger and string trimmers

For 2012, Maruyama introduced 3 string trimmers — BIG M Pro-Scape BT23L, B27L TURBO and B30L TURBO — as well as the E30S straight-shaft edger.

The BT23L is a professional-quality string trimmer at a consumer price. It features a 22.5-cc, EPA-compliant, fuel-efficient, commercial engine with a superior power-to-weight ratio and a 1-year-commercial/5-year consumer warranty.

The B27L TURBO (25.4 cc) and B30L TURBO (30.2 cc) trimmers offer a 1:9:1 gear-reduction ratio for high-demand applications such as cutting dense, wet, high grasses. The TURBO units are backed by Maruyama’s IRON 5-year commercial warranty.

Maruyama’s E30S straight-shaft 30.2-cc edger, like Maruyama’s 2 curved-shaft edgers (ED2321 and ED2621), has Maruyama’s patented HERE (High Efficiency Recirculator Engine) low-emission technology that meets EPA regulations, while still providing plenty of cutting power and torque at a low weight. All 3 edgers are backed by Maruyama’s IRON 5-year commercial warranty.
