Mowox Tools, a Charlotte, N.C.-headquartered developer of outdoor power equipment, announced the donation of 14,400 surgical masks to CharMeck Responds Coalition, a diverse group of faith partners, non-profits, businesses and other community organizations that are committed to make sure all members of the Charlotte, NC community are cared for during the COVID-19 crisis. Mowox’s parent company, Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery, based in Ningbo, China, secured the large quantity of surgical masks and began shipping them to its North American headquarters in Charlotte to support community efforts in response to coronavirus. To date Mowox has distributed over 20,000 surgical masks throughout the Charlotte region.

“Our community continues to face unprecedented challenges in dealing with COVID-19,” said Mowox Chief Executive Officer Matt Ragland. “Our parent company, Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery, saw the need for critical medical supplies as the entire U.S. battles coronavirus, and wanted to do everything in its power to help those in need throughout our local community. We’re proud to play a small role in the community response to this unexpected crisis.”
