Nissan Commercial Vehicles sponsors Thursday Night concert at GIE+EXPO
Through a sponsorship, Nissan Commercial Vehicles will treat attendees at the 2012 Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO) and Hardscape North America (HNA) to a free concert featuring the Eli Young Band on Thursday, Oct. 25, in downtown Louisville at 4th Street Live! The Trishas will take the stage at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Eli Young Band at 9 p.m.
The Eli Young Band is a group of rising country stars. The 11-year band was started in Denton, Texas, by Mike Eli and James Young during their freshmen year of college. After four studio albums and one live album, they have finally gained national recognition for their hard work. Their song “Crazy Girl” was named the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards’ Song of the Year at the American Country Music Awards.
Opening for the Eli Young Band will be The Trishas, whose beautifully blended voices turn out music that has been described as occasionally rambunctious Texas country laced with gospel and a hint of soul.

GIE+EXPO — the ninth largest tradeshow in America — is debuting a new format at the Kentucky Exposition Center this year. Wednesday, Oct. 24, will be Dealer Day, for dealers, retailers and distributors. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 25 and 26, will be open to all industry participants.
