Pacific Outdoor Living, Sun Valley, Calif., is sponsoring an area of Children’s Day 2011, an annual charity event against gangs, Sept. 17.

Pacific Outdoor Living will showcase a beautiful outdoor living space valued at more than $40,000, which will include a working pond, pergola, paving stones and artificial turf. There will also be educational demonstrations on how each product is installed in order to show kids and teens other options in life besides gangs and crime.

“For over a decade the amount of gang members in San Fernando Valley has been on the rise. I feel that it is the responsibility of every community member, especially the influential business owners, to do everything in their power to stop these numbers from growing. This is why I fully support the Fourth annual Children’s Day event,” Terry Morrill, owner of Pacific Outdoor Living.

Join Pacific Outdoor Living and Children’s Day in the fight against gangs, September 17, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Woodley Park – 6335 Woodley Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406.
