Schiller Grounds Care names new CFO

Schiller Grounds Care, the Southampton, Pa.-based manufacturer of premium-branded gardening, landscaping and turf care equipment, announced July 2 the appointment of Pam Prior as its new chief financial officer.

Prior immediately assumes key roles in managing Schiller’s comprehensive network of dealers and distributors around the world and its large direct-to-consumer businesses, as well as in crafting the company’s expansion plans within the international green industry.

In addition to earning an MBA from the University of Delaware, Prior is a CPA and will immediately take responsibility for company-wide financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, and the development of new business opportunities. She will also take charge of the company’s Information Technology departments.

Prior has held key financial positions at some of the leading companies in the Pennsylvania area, including Tasty Baking Company, Cardinal Health, and DuPont De Nemours, and she will be based in the company’s Southampton headquarters. In addition to its Pennsylvania operation, Schiller Grounds Care operates a manufacturing facility in Wisconsin and maintains two sales offices in Europe.
