On October 7, the Synthetic Turf Council (STC) will host its second “Whistle-stop” seminar during the annual Fall Membership Meeting and 10th Anniversary Celebration in Orlando, Fla., at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. The theme for this pre-conference seminar is synthetic grass for landscape and recreation use.

From 1 to 4 p.m., the three-hour seminar will feature the following topics:

NEW “STC Guidelines: Considerations When Buying Synthetic Grass for Landscape Use”
The Many Applications for Synthetic Grass
Environmental & Other Benefits of Synthetic Grass

“The “Whistle-stop” seminar was created to offer a special educational opportunity to buyers and owners of synthetic turf systems. We hope that it will attract a large audience in the cities we travel to for our meetings, and become a staple in the educational programming that we offer throughout the year,” said Rick Doyle, president, Synthetic Turf Council.

The seminar will be led by industry professionals, and provide ample time for Q&A. Invitees for this Architects, Parks and Recreation officials, Home Owners Associations, Florida Friendly Landscaping Program, Hotels and Theme Park Companies, and STC Members.

Attendees are also invited to attend an Exhibitor Showcase of synthetic turn products by STC members that will follow immediately after the seminar from 4 – 5:30 p.m.
