Toro announced its 2012 commercial landscape product lineup, featured in the new Toro Commercial Landscape Equipment catalog. The 2012 line includes the new Toro Z Master Commercial 2000 Series mowers, and all models are aligned under two new series names — the Z Master Commercial and Z Master Professional Series (see chart below). The new Toro Z Master Commercial 2000 Series mowers provide the durability, results and performance of professional-quality models for budget-minded, part-time landscapers and acreage owners. These models feature powerful Kawasaki FX engines, commercial-grade transmissions, and incorporate the Turbo Force cutting deck design, which includes a rugged bull-nose front bumper, wide flange spindle design, 7-gauge-steel side skirts, and available in 48-, 52- or 60-inch cutting widths. The 2012 Toro Commercial Landscape Equipment catalog also focuses on the durability of the Toro Turbo Force cutting deck, available on a range of models. The Turbo Force deck is constructed of 7-gauge, high-strength steel that is 33-percent thicker and has 32-percent higher yield strength than standard 10-gauge steel. The result is a deck that resists damage from impacts and provides a high-quality cut, regardless of mowing conditions. Toro interviewed commercial landscapers across the country, and some of their comments about the deck’s durability appear in the catalog.
