Tour des Trees: Rollin’ in Place is here

TREE Fund announced that the new Tour des Trees: Rollin’ in Place event is here.

There will be no fundraising minimums for this new virtual campaign, just fundraising incentives to keep the excitement and momentum alive. The campaign will run through November 15, with promotions and highlights throughout to spice things up (and yes, prior fundraising for the 2020 Tour des Trees will be counted, too) Keep an eye on the event calendar for upcoming events. Updates will also be shared via email and social media.

The Challenge: Traditionally, Tour des Trees riders would spend a week riding through a state or region, engaging with communities and raising funds for TREE Fund. Instead of riding 321 miles in the Rockies this year, TREE Fund challenges you to take on 321 your own way. Ride 321 km a month the entire duration of the campaign, run 3.21 miles a day, do 321 push-ups a week, walk your dog 321 miles, pogo-stick jump to a new record of 321… you get the idea. 321 is the magic number!

Important note for those who registered to ride in Colorado: All fundraising pages and prior fundraising dollars from participants who were registered for Tour des Trees: Rollin’ the Rockies (in Colorado) have been carried over to this new campaign. Make sure you visit the site to view the updates to your fundraising page (if you previously created one).

Fundraising Incentives: Participants who raise a minimum of $250 will receive a Rollin’ in Place sticker, webcam privacy cover, and other discounts and promos from some of TREE Fund’s generous partners. Participants who raise a minimum of $500 will also receive an endurance tee/tank or cycling jersey. In addition there will be prizes for top mileage, top fundraisers, promotional winners, etc., so keep an eye on your inbox and our social media pages for updates. Top fundraisers will also receive prizes from Arborwear and Tailwind Nutrition – and the #1 fundraiser will receive one free month of coaching from Carmichael Training Systems!

Finally, participants will not be recognized by TREE Fund until they complete the online agreement and waiver. If you are a new participant, the waiver will be included in your registration process, but if you were previously registered you will need to take a moment to complete this step.

Visit tourdestrees.org to view the new campaign, create and share your fundraising page (or view the changes to your page if you already created one!), challenge friends, and get started.
