Virtual HNA

Three top-name presenters who have combined on-the-job experience with professional training and education to become leading industry experts are on the lineup at the virtual Hardscape North America (HNA) education event. Frank Bourque, Gary Ross and Corey Halstead will each present multiple sessions throughout the two-day event, which will take place January 26-27, 2021.

Frank Bourque

Frank Bourque

An award-winning hardscape professional, speaker, writer, consultant and entrepreneur, Bourque has 20 years of experience as a green industry business owner. With a background that spans retail, landscape management, hardscape construction and landscape design/construction, he is well known for coaching entrepreneurs into the next level. Bourque is the host of Hardscape Live and is an ICPI Certified Concrete Paver Installer, ICPI Authorized Instructor and NCMA instructor.

Business-related sessions presented by Bourque will cover growth strategies, avoiding pitfalls and hiring the right team. In the installation track he will demo technology, including virtual reality and 3D design software.

Gary Ross

Gary Ross

When it comes to improving sales, Ross is the go-to guy in the hardscape industry. With 36 years of sales and leadership experience, including 14 years in sales management, his expertise is a combination of first-hand experience, a degree in human resources management and certifications in supervisory development and sales professional programs. The founder of Allies in Leadership, Ross is an author, speaker, coach and trainer with the John Maxwell Team. He is the former VP of Sales and Marketing for Coastal, an Oldcastle Company, which was named the Oldcastle Company of the Year under his leadership.

Ross will present three sessions with insights on developing your sales message, making powerful connections and strategies for building a successful career.

Corey Halstead

Corey Halstead

Halstead’s hands-on industry experience and sales background give him a unique understanding of both B2B and B2C channels in the industry. Since joining his uncle’s landscape maintenance business at 14, he has transitioned from installation crew member to project manager and design/sales roles, eventually switching to the product side of the industry. With cutting-edge digital marketing certifications and over eight years driving marketing ROI for leading design/build contractors, dealers, and building product manufacturers, he heads up sales, marketing and education at HALSTEAD.

Halstead will share his expertise in social media, marketing strategies and prequalifying leads using technology.

Produced by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), the virtual Hardscape North America (HNA) education event will provide 42 interactive sessions across three tracks – Business, Installation and Marketing and Sales. Participants can earn up to 30 Continuing Education Credit Hours needed for ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Certification.
