WaterSmart Innovations expands expo hall

Responding to increased demand, the second WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition is offering an expanded expo hall for prospective exhibitors for this year’s conference, slated for Oct. 7-9, 2009, in Las Vegas at the South Point Hotel and Conference Center.

The more than 180 exhibit spaces at WSI this year mark a 12 percent increase in booths over last year’s successful inaugural conference and expo, when demand exceeded capacity. Information on securing an exhibit booth is available at www.WaterSmartInnovations.com.

Booth rates for WSI remain at the 2008 level of $1,845 per 10’ x 10’ booth ($100 more for a corner booth). In addition, each booth purchased includes one Full Conference badge that includes admission to the keynote luncheon and all professional sessions. Additional keynote luncheon tickets are available to exhibitors or $35 each.

This year, WSI will hold refreshment breaks in the expo hall, as well as a cocktail reception on the evening of Thursday, October 8. More information about these opportunities to reach WSI attendees, as well as an updated listing of exhibitors, is available on the Web site.

More than 1,200 professionals from 43 states and 17 nations participated in the first WaterSmart Innovations, held in October 2008, making it the world’s largest and most comprehensive conservation-specific conference of its kind.

The Southern Nevada Water Authority is presenting the WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense Program, Alliance for Water Efficiency, American Water Works Association, Audubon International, California Urban Water Conservation Council, GreenPlumbers USA, International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, International Center for Water Technology and Irrigation Association.
