The second WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition will present a wide range of professional sessions in several education and training tracks, October 7-9 at the South Point Hotel and Conference Center in Las Vegas.


The conference’s Program Committee selected more than 130 of the highest quality presentations from about 270 abstracts submitted by water-efficiency professionals from around the globe. In addition to representatives from the United States, the Program Committee received proposals from Canada, Australia, Portugal and Mexico.


Education and training tracks at WaterSmart Innovations include Alternate Sources; Code, Policy and Rates; Conservation and Incentive Programs; Construction and Development; Drought Management; Education; Landscapes; Marketing and Outreach; Plumbing, Appliances and Fixtures; Special Topics; and Utility and Infrastructure. This year, WSI also will feature poster sessions comprising 18 posters. Authors will be present at their poster displays Wednesday, October 7, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Thursday, October 8, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
