Weed Man USA franchisees hiring for thousands of positions nationwide

Weed Man USA is calling for help in reducing America’s lawn problems. The nation’s leading lawn care franchise announced that its franchisees are collectively recruiting for thousands of positions nationwide. Available full- and part-time career opportunities include customer outreach representatives, sales & marketing representatives, managers, lawn care technicians and administrative staff.

“Because of our incredible growth over the past few years, our franchisees have several positions available all across the nation this spring,” said Jennifer Lemcke, COO of Turf Holdings, Inc., the company that owns the expansion rights for Weed Man USA. Lemcke noted that Weed Man USA added 44 new territories in 2016, bringing its total count to more than 500 territories served nationwide. The company expects to reach 544 territories by year end and increase system-wide sales by more than 12 percent. The franchise has been recognized year after year by both Forbes and Entrepreneur magazines as one of the nation’s top franchise investments, and recently received the Franchise Times Zor Award for being one of 2017’s Best Franchises to Buy.

Weed Man USA franchisees hire a lot of part-time and seasonal workers at the high school and college levels, and many offer internship programs as well as apprenticeships. Lemcke said the company places a focus on employee growth, ensuring each employee knows their growth path within the business and that franchise owners know how to get an employee to the next level. With this, many of its employees have grown their careers into department managers, senior managers and franchise owners.

Lemcke added, “We have developed a culture that gives employees an opportunity to be the best that they can be with allies supporting them in their professional development. Our franchisees have found success by investing in their employees.”

Matt Peters, owner of the Weed Man USA franchise in Bucks County, Pennsylvania started as a neighborhood canvasser at 16-years-old and today at age 25 he operates his own franchise territory. He said, “I’ve seen the Weed Man business at every level – from an entry-level position and up through sales, marketing and management. Experiencing the business from every position has given me a unique perspective with my employees. We’re able to connect on a deeper level because they know I’ve been in their shoes and I know exactly what they’re dealing with.”
